The others were also here to help us; it's a give and d take process. All of us need each other to survive in this world. Those people who are fortunate and of course with their own will must share what they have to those who are less fortunate one. Sharing and giving is the most important of all. God created all the things in this world not to be benefited by only few people but for all.
Ethical egoists think that people will be happiest if they look out for themselves and not concern themselves with others but is this where true human happiness lies?
Maybe there are times that we, people may feel happy if we will just look out for ourselves, there are things that we want and we are really strive hard to achieve it without thinking and not concerning about the feelings of other people that surrounds us. And this is a case to case basis, there are also times that we feel really happy if we are helping other people and it feels great if we can give our time helping them even in our own little way especially when they really need our help and they need someone to be within their hardship. Making others happy can be our great happiness too.
What are the roots of egoism? Where does it come from? What do egotistical people FEAR?
What are the roots of egoism? Basically, the roots of egoism are of the different feelings that we may feel, like envy, jealousy, anger, sadness, the hunger of wanting something and the crave for achieving what you want to get. And it comes from the different situation and in the different scenarios that we may encounter in our daily life and there are also some people who are naturally born to be greedy, selfish and self-centered. Basically, egotistical people fear from being surpassed by other people in any way and in any things, scared of losing something and scared of not getting what you desire.
